The Game Awards 2017

The Game Awards is an award show celebrating creative and technical excellence in the global video game and esports world. Awards at this year's event included Game of the Year, Best Debut Indie Game, Best Multiplayer Game, and more!

The Polycade showcase arcade

For the first time at the Game Awards, indie games were given an award titled “Best Debut Indie Game.” We set up a showcase wall of 4 Polycades where the nominated games could be played.

Best Debut Indie Game Nominees

Thee “Best Debut Indie Game” award nominees included Cuphead, Golf Story, Hollow Knight, Mr. Shifty, and Slime Rancher. Our favorite Indie game of the group, Cuphead, ended up bringing home the award!
