I’m just sending this email to say that the Polycade is unbelievable dude. I had NO IDEA what I was getting into. I was like “cool, I can play supermario bros on this stylish machine. Clients will see it in the background on client calls, blah, blah, blah”
Nuh uh. I hung it. Downloaded some games, and after playing with it for a while I was like “Holy shit. Tyler freaking Bushnell has made a damn dream machine for gamers” Then I watched some YouTube vids on modern games that play like butter on the Polycade.
This is all to say that the polycade has single-handedly reignited my passion for video games. So thank you, dude. From the bottom of my digital heart.

I had concerns about me/family playing the polycade enough to justify the purchase. Plus, I already have a 3-way mame cocktail cabinet that no one plays in the basement. That said, I put the polycade in the living room and happy to report it gets played everyday. I WFH and love how easy it is to de-stress over lunch with a little help from robotron.
I've been waiting so long for a system like this. would buy it again without hesitation. I was on a video call with my boss and he had a Gorf marquee on his wall, so I had to show off the Sente to him. Spent the whole call talking about classic arcade games. I told him I got a twin stick and he brought back memories of crazy climber.... So I had to show that off to him too. The next week I asked him for a raise and he said yes! Thank you polycade! Haha

My 72 year old dad (and my mom) were over the other day to hang out with their grandkids while the wife and I went to our eldest daughter's competitive gymnastics meet. When the wife and I got home my mom couldn't get him out the door for a solid hour. He's come over twice since and it was clear it was to play his games 😆. Astroids is his favorite.
Got the Polycade today and oh man, this is just so well executed. It really exceeded all of my expectations, my entire family is completely stoked.

Polycade uses the same joysticks and buttons favored by most pro fighting game players - Sanwa. We go a step further to create the most precise gameplay with the best feel by customizing the joystick with an octagonal gate - making your HADOUKENS easy to execute.
To complete the build, we use our co-designed Brook Accessory controller boards. After 7 years building arcade machines, we realized the perfect multicade arcade controller boards didn't exist - so we reached out to Brook and built them together.
X-Input
What does this mean? It means you won't have to configure the controls for nearly any game, modern or retro.
No Mode Switching
Most controller boards allow you to switch modes, which results in a broken arcade experience.
Fixed Player Positions
